City of Brno has selected two schools for crucial professions workers’ children from 4 January

In line with the governmental regulation, the City of Brno has selected two educational facilities for children (aged 3 to 10 years) of parents in crucial professions. Both schools will be ready to provide essential care for these children from 4 January 2021. The first school is the Základní a mateřská škola Merhautova 37 (contact information: Headmaster Jana Foltýnová, tel. 731 610 261 or 545 211 651). Christmas markets at Brno squares will open on 3 December

The stands at the Freedom Square, Dominican Square, Cabbage Market, Moravian Square, and by the Jošt statue will open on Thursday 3 December. The stands will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no food or drinks for direct consumption on the spot. Craftworks, gifts, packed food, etc. will be for sale. There will be spacing between stands and hand sanitizers will be available. With regard to the fragile situation, organizers kindly ask all visitors to follow basic hygiene rules and to behave responsibly.…
