St. Anne’s Hospital has established a COVID-19 info centre
The St. Anne’s University Hospital (FNUSA) in Brno started the operation of a telephone information centre today. The need for the centre ensued from many questions on testing for COVID-19, evaluation of samples and sending of results.
There are three employees at the FNUSA Information Centre, which is the official name of the new department, who will answer telephone questions from the public. People can get information on the possibilities of testing and on further procedures related to COVID-19 here and do not have to contact health care staff in laboratories and health care facilities so that they can deal with their own work. The telephone line 543 185 555 will be available between 7:00 and 19:00 on weekdays and between 9:30 and 18:00 on weekends and holidays.
The staff will answer also questions by e-mail at the address firstname.lastname@example.org which has been established for this purpose.
The St. Anne’s University Hospital Information Centre is intended to continue its work even when the pandemic is over. Apart from providing information by phone it can serve also to the hospital’s visitors in future.
